Adasa has been once more chosen to provide the operation and maintenance services of the Spanish national air quality monitoring network, as an extension of the work that Adasa has been developing since 2011, and granted with a budget of 1.3 million euros.
With this contract Adasa consolidates its position as one of the references in the supply and operation of environmental monitoring networks, especially in air monitoring, where Adasa also provides installation and maintenance services of tailor-made solutions, such as the mobile stations supplied to PEMEX (Petróleos Mexicanos, which translates to Mexican Petroleums, Latin America’s second largest enterprise) that were equipped with Ecotech integrated solutions.
The project includes the preventive and corrective maintenance for the proper operation of the meteorological and atmospheric pollution analysers installed in the air monitoring stations, and the data acquisition and transmission systems to ensure that the data captured in the stations is properly transferred and integrated into the public administration data centres. This acquisition system is based on Adasa’s Ecodata software.
The analysers included in these stations measure sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxide, ozone, carbon monoxide and suspended particulate matter, among others. The stations also monitor wind speed and direction, temperature and relative humidity, solar radiation, precipitation and atmospheric pressure.
