Relevant departments in China have issued a number of targeted measures to plan the treatment processes in regard to strong-smelling waters, and the market for this industry is rapidly growing.
As a result, government is offering more and more financial support to businesses involved in environmental protection and contaminated strong-smelling water treatment.
The 2018 report on the present situation and development trends reveals water treatment industry strategic planning and investments in China, and offers an in-depth presentation of enterprises in the water treatment industry. In total, there are only few environmental management operators in China, and the number of qualified operators involved in contaminated water treatment is even more limited.
At present, the list of environmental protection enterprises involved in water treatment includes Originwater, Tus-sound and Capitalwater, etc., and Hong Kong list also includes Kangdaep international environmental protection group and Tianjin environmental protection group.
As far as net profit scale is concerned, Tus-sound ranks first in both 2017-2018 and is relatively stable. The net profit scale of other enterprises fluctuates greatly. In the first three quarters of 2018, the net profit of Tus-sound was 885 million yuan, with 5.4% growth year on year. Net profit rose 15.4 per cent and 27.6 per cent, respectively, from a year earlier, for Xing Rong and Han Lan Environmental Protection, the second and third largest, respectively. Guozhen environmental protection (121.8%) and Bosch (113.6%) are the enterprises with the fastest growth of net profit. Xing Yuan environment’s net profit dropped 70.3 percent year-on-year.
Industry analysts believe that the stricter policies will help promote the investments for environmental businesses, and especially those specializing in the field of water treatment.
